HYDRION QT TEST PAPER
|
Description:
A test paper in a convenient dispenser, which gives quick readings of the concentration of quaternary ammonium compounds in sanitizing solutions. Match points on the color chart indicate 100-200-300-400 ppm of “quat” concentration. Will allow the user to detect exhaustion of solutions that should be replaced and will reduce the use of excessive and wasteful amounts of “quat” compound. Each dispenser comes with a color chart and enough paper for well over 120 tests.
Application: Open dispenser and remove paper roll
from foil wrapping. Place the roll back into the
dispenser and replace dispenser top. Tear approximately
2" of Hydrion QT test paper from the dispenser and dip
into the solution to be tested for 10 SECONDS
EXACTLY. Make sure to stay away from any foam and do
NOT stir the test strip as it will cause a high
reading. Remove after the 10 seconds are up and
immediately match to the color chart. Refer to
sanitizer label for information on required
concentrations. |

HYDRION pH TEST PAPER
|
Description:
For accurate and rapid determination of pH values for acid or alkali ranges. A low cost disposable vial of HYDRION pH paper strips with a range of 1 to 12 with a color change for each full pH unit. Each vial contains 100 strips. pH is a measure of acidity and alkalinity. The pH scale goes from 0 to 14. At pH 7, the half waypoint, there is a balance between acidity and alkalinity. Such a solution is neutral. If the solution has excess acid, the balance is shifted so that the scale reads a number lower than 7 - the greater the acid strength, the lower the pH value. Similarly, a solution that is alkaline has a pH that is higher than 7 and the greater the alkali strength, the higher the pH value - up to 14.
